Rep. Jim Nash represents HD 47A and is a two term legislator. Prior to serving in the House of Representatives he was the Mayor of Waconia for two terms. He and his wife Kim have six children ranging from 22 down to 10.
Rep Nash has worked in the IT industry for 10 years and after selling his company recently he joined a Twin Cities Cybersecurity company called FRSecure as their Cyber Evangelist. Rep Nash is a year round volunteer with Operation Christmas Child and when he’s not working at the Capitol or at his day job he can be found on a lake fishing, or in his workshop making America flags out of reclaimed barn wood.
