How can we improve the way we attract and retain an inclusive cyber workforce? How can we keep our teams feeling included, satisfied, and engaged, yet still have a semblance of work-life balance? In 2020, not only did organizations grapple with these ongoing questions, but they had to do so while having to deal with a perfect storm of global pandemic, work-from-home labor transformation, and increasing cyber attacks.

To address these questions and navigate our way to calmer waters, we organized the WiCYS Women in Cyber Half-Day event, sponsored by Optum, Cisco Secure, and Saviynt as part of the Tenth Annual Cyber Security Summit. The event will feature several cybersecurity leaders who will share personal stories and leadership approaches to help address these challenges. Topics will include:

Leading, recruiting, and engaging diverse, remote teams in this unique environment (pandemic + talent shortage + foster inclusivity)
Recognizing inclusivity gaps and tackling them head-on

We will kick off the half-day event with a unique experience via the “Breaking Ice” production by the Pillsbury Theater Company. We’ll also have two panels, featuring many well-known cybersecurity leaders: Allison Miller, CISO of Optum; Judy Hatchett, CISO of Surescripts; Betty Elliott, CISO of Mercer; Sam Grosby, Principal Security Architect for Wells Fargo; Milinda Rambel Stone , CISO of Provation Medical; and Tina Meeker, Sr. Director and Head of Security for Sleep Number.

We hope you will join us for this important conversation on Monday October 26th. You can either purchase individual admission, or receive free access when you register for the Cyber Security Summit VIP All Access Pass.
