2025 CSS Student Summit Scholarship FAQs

What is a Student Summit Scholarship? Who’s eligible?

A limited number of Student Summit Scholarships are available for 2025 graduates and full-time students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs at U.S. colleges and universities. Each recipient receives complimentary registration to the full two-day Cyber Security Summit held at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest Tuesday, October 21-22.

What does the Student Summit Scholarship include?

The CSS15 scholarship brings you two full days of educational programming with presentations from leading cyber security experts, where you’ll meet security leaders from all 16 critical infrastructure sectors who work in business, government, military and academic roles. The scholarship includes Summit registration fees, breakfast and lunch for two days. Students are responsible for their own transportation and if needed, hotel lodging (discounts available; see registration for more info).

How do I submit my interest in a Student Summit Scholarship?

  1. The Summit has school liaisons at many colleges and universities. Ask your academic advisor or department chair to identify the Cyber Security Summit scholarship program liaison. Send to the liaison a 500 word or less email response: “Tell us about your interest in the Cyber Security Summit and how this scholarship might contribute to your education.”

  2. The school liaison selects recipients to fill the number of allocated scholarships and forwards the information below for each student by Tuesday, September 16, 2025 to scholarships.cybersecuritysummit@eventshows.com.
    • student full name
    • expected/actual graduation date
    • field of study/major
    • email and phone number
    • school name and address
    • liaison name, email, phone number

  3. If a school is not familiar with the Summit Scholarship Program, a student can send an email to Oscar Garcia at scholarships.cybersecuritysummit@eventshows.com with a cc: to a school official (academic advisor, department chair, registrar, etc.) with the full information above and the 500 words or less response to: Tell us about your interest in the Cyber Security Summit and how this scholarship might contribute to your education.”

All submissions must be received by Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Students selected receive information from the Summit by October 1 with a registration code. Liaisons are copied to the notifications. Students that are not selected may be interested in the discounted Student Pass registration or volunteering (https://www.cybersecuritysummit.org/volunteer).
