Justin Smith is a Principal Security Architect at Ecolab with more than twenty years of experience leading security strategy. He drives security reviews of Ecolab’s integration of agentic solutions in our various platforms and has built out a comprehensive threat and vulnerability management program. Throughout his career, he has consistently aligned cybersecurity capabilities with business objectives and operational resilience.

In addition to his corporate leadership, Justin serves in the Minnesota Army National Guard as a Cyber Warfare Warrant Officer, supporting Army cyber operations and advising senior leaders on defensive cyber strategy. He was the first approved Cyber Warrant Officer packet in the State of Minnesota and is also a member of the Military Cyber Professionals Association (MCPA) Minnesota Chapter, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on developing cyber talent and advancing STEM education.

Justin holds a Master of Security Technologies from the University of Minnesota and maintains numerous industry certifications, including the CISSP and CISM.
