Marc Child is Director Information Security Assurance for Great River Energy where he applies extensive cyber, physical, personnel, and data security knowledge and three decades of leadership experience. At GRE, Marc is responsible for the holistic security program from design and implementation to compliance with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection regulations. Marc is a past Chair to the Critical Infrastructure Protection Committee at the NERC and is a current leader to the NERC Reliability and Security Technical Committee. Marc has earned both CISSP and GICSP certifications. Marc is an elected Executive Board member to the InfraGard Minnesota chapter and serves as Chair to the strategy committee and Vice Chair to the sector chief program. In 2021, Marc received the first Electricity Sector Security Service Award from the Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC).
